Privacy Policy – Glikora

Last updated: 15 July 2026

In short: Glikora is an on-device fishing logbook. The current version does not require an online account and does not upload your catch log or photos to a Glikora server. You decide when to share a catch summary. You can erase your local app data from within the app.

1. Who we are

Glikora (also referred to as “we”, “us”, or “Glikora”) provides the Glikora mobile application.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at MiyaUrquides79329@outlook.com.

2. What data we process

We process only information you enter yourself or that is needed for the app to function on your device:

CategoryExamplesPurpose
Local app state Onboarding completion, local access state, session count, and collection progress Remember your progress and app state on your device
Catch data Species, length, weight, date/time, bait, private spot notes, catch photos Core logbook and collection features
Spot notes Optional text that you manually enter with a catch Keep your own notes with the local catch record
Preference data Privacy toggles (for example ghost mode for spots, municipality sharing preference) Remember your selected settings on your device

We do not ask for and do not intentionally process special categories of personal data (such as health, religion, or political opinions).

3. How we use your data

4. Sharing and communications

When you choose to share a catch summary, Glikora opens the iOS share sheet. You select the receiving app or person. The current share summary contains catch text; Glikora does not automatically publish your private notes, catch photos, or other records.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. The current version does not transmit your catch log or catch photos to Glikora. Apple may process information as needed to distribute the app and provide the iOS services you choose to use.

The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are hosted as web pages. Like other websites, the hosting service may receive ordinary web request information when you open those pages. Glikora does not use those pages to upload your catch log or photos.

6. How long we keep data

Your catch records, catch photos, session count, collection progress, and preferences remain on your device until you erase them in the app or remove the app and its data. Using Profile → Delete Account erases those local records and settings. Despite the current button label, the current version has no online Glikora account to delete. A local marker indicating that the app was previously entered may remain in app storage after this action; it does not contain your catch records, photos, or profile information.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including GDPR where it applies), you may have the right to:

Contact MiyaUrquides79329@outlook.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

Your records are stored in the app's local storage on your device. Device security and backups are controlled by you and the platform. No storage method is completely secure, so keep your device and Apple account protected.

9. Children

Glikora is not directed at children under 16. Because the current version stores catch records locally and does not operate an online account service, a parent or guardian can remove local app data from the device. Privacy questions may be sent to the email address below.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date shown above.
